Service Description
A 6-week online baking and enterprise programme for young people aged 12–16 by Barry's Bakehouse. Participants learn baking skills, develop signature products and work as part of the Barry’s Bakehouse team as they prepare for a live Market Day. Each week, participants explore a new baking skill while learning how a real bakery business works. They will learn how to: Create and test recipes Improve presentation Cost ingredients Package products Understand customers Prepare products for sale Each young baker develops their own signature product or mini collection under the Barry’s Bakehouse brand, ready to sell at the final Market Day. The Programme Week 1: Cupcakes & Buttercream Week 2: Cookies & Brownies Week 3: Celebration Cakes Week 4: Dessert Boxes Week 5: Seasonal Treats Week 6: Market Collection Final Event Barry’s Bakehouse Market Day The cohort comes together to run a real bakery stall, sell products and celebrate what they have created.

Assembly Booking Policy – Hello Little Genius Thank you for choosing the Little Bosses: Entrepreneurship Assembly by Hello Little Genius — a high-energy, hands-on experience that inspires children to think boldly, lead confidently, and dream big. 📍 Travel Area & Fees We are proudly based in Swindon and offer our assemblies at a fixed rate to schools within a 25-mile radius. If your school is outside this area, we’d still love to work with you — travel costs may apply and will be discussed at the time of enquiry. 📅 Booking Details Assemblies are available Monday–Friday during term time. Each session lasts approximately 30–45 minutes and is suitable for KS1, KS2, or whole-school audiences. Bookings should be made at least 3 weeks in advance. 👤 Your Facilitator All sessions are led by a trained Hello Little Genius facilitator, fully DBS checked and experienced in working with primary-aged children. Facilitators will arrive in Hello Little Genius uniform and bring all necessary materials. 🎁 What’s Included An engaging, age-appropriate entrepreneurship assembly A free follow-up classroom activity pack Optional digital shout-out for your school (with permission) ❗ Cancellations Cancellations made more than 7 days before the session can be rescheduled free of charge.
