TERMS AND CONDITIONS
1. ABOUT US
These Terms and Conditions apply to all programmes, events, workshops, courses, camps, educational services, products and activities provided by Little Bosses Academy CIC.
Little Bosses Academy CIC (Company Number: 16501483) is a Community Interest Company dedicated to helping children develop entrepreneurial thinking, leadership skills, financial literacy, creativity, confidence and real-world experience through engaging educational programmes and enterprise-based learning.
Throughout these Terms and Conditions:

"Little Bosses Academy", "Little Bosses Academy CIC", "we", "us" and "our" refer to Little Bosses Academy CIC.

"Parent", "Guardian", "Customer", "Participant", "you" and "your" refer to the person making a booking and/or the child participating in our programmes.

"Programme" refers to any workshop, camp, course, event, school programme, online session, mentoring activity, enterprise experience, pop-up shop, educational resource or service delivered by Little Bosses Academy CIC.
By booking, registering for, purchasing or participating in any Little Bosses Academy programme, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.
2. OUR PROGRAMMES
Little Bosses Academy CIC delivers educational programmes designed to develop children's confidence, leadership, communication, creativity, responsibility, financial literacy and entrepreneurial skills.
Our programmes may include:

Enterprise and business workshops

Financial literacy programmes

Leadership development programmes
-
School partnerships
-
Holiday camps
-
Pop-up business experiences
-
Community events
-
Parent workshops

Online learning sessions

Educational resources and activity packs

Merchandise and branded products
Programme content may vary and may be updated, enhanced or amended without notice where necessary to improve participant experience or programme delivery.
3. BOOKINGS AND REGISTRATION
Places are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis and are subject to availability.
A booking is only confirmed when:

A completed registration form has been submitted;

All required participant information has been provided; and
-
Payment or deposit has been received.
Parents and guardians are responsible for ensuring all information supplied is accurate and up to date.

-
Allergies
-
Additional support needs
-
Collection arrangements
We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any booking where information provided is incomplete, inaccurate or where participation may present a safeguarding or safety concern.
4. FEES AND PAYMENT
Programme fees must be paid by the stated deadline.
Where payment plans are offered:

Payments must be made on the agreed dates.

Failure to maintain payments may result in a participant's place being withdrawn.
Any outstanding balance must be cleared before attendance unless otherwise agreed in writing.
All fees are quoted in Pounds Sterling (£).
5. CANCELLATIONS AND REFUNDS
Cancellation by Parents
More than 30 days before programme start date:

Full refund less any non-refundable booking fee.
14–30 days before programme start date:
-
50% refund.
Less than 14 days before programme start date:
-
No refund.
Refunds will not be issued for:
-
Non-attendance
-
Change of mind
-
Missed sessions
-
Holidays booked after registration
-
Failure to provide required information
Exceptional circumstances may be considered at the discretion of Little Bosses Academy CIC.
6. PROGRAMME CHANGES AND CANCELLATIONS
Little Bosses Academy CIC reserves the right to:

Change venues
-
Adjust schedules
-
Substitute activities
-
Change facilitators
-
Reschedule programmes
where reasonably necessary.
If we cancel a programme, parents will be offered either:

A transfer to another programme; or
-
A full refund.
7. PARTICIPANT CONDUCT
Participants are expected to:

Treat others with respect
-
Follow instructions from staff and volunteers
-
Behave safely and responsibly
-
Respect equipment, venues and property
Bullying, discrimination, harassment, abusive behaviour or conduct that places others at risk will not be tolerated.
We reserve the right to remove any participant whose behaviour is deemed unsafe, disruptive or inappropriate.
No refund will be provided where removal results from misconduct.
8. PARENT CODE OF CONDUCT
Parents and guardians are expected to interact respectfully with staff, volunteers, partners, venues and other families.
Abusive, threatening, discriminatory or aggressive behaviour will not be tolerated.
We reserve the right to terminate participation where parent behaviour compromises the safe operation of a programme.
9. HEALTH, MEDICAL INFORMATION AND ALLERGIES
Parents must disclose all relevant medical information before attendance.
While reasonable precautions are taken, participation in activities is undertaken at the parent's own risk.
Parents authorise Little Bosses Academy CIC to seek emergency medical treatment where required if they cannot be contacted immediately.
Any costs incurred remain the responsibility of the parent or guardian.
10. FOOD ACTIVITIES
Certain programmes may involve:

Food preparation

Food handling

Food tasting
-
Food sales
While reasonable measures are taken regarding food safety and allergens, we cannot guarantee an allergen-free environment.
Parents remain responsible for informing us of any allergies, intolerances or dietary requirements.
11. PHOTOGRAPHY, VIDEO AND MEDIA CONSENT
Little Bosses Academy CIC may take photographs, videos and recordings during programmes.
These may be used for:

Social media

Marketing materials
-
Press releases
-
News articles
-
Television and media coverage
-
Funding reports
-
Promotional campaigns
-
Educational publications
Specific media consent will be obtained through registration forms.
Parents may withdraw consent in writing at any time.
12. ENTERPRISE ACTIVITIES AND POP-UP EVENTS
Some programmes involve practical enterprise activities, including the creation, promotion and sale of products or services.
These activities are educational experiences designed to teach business, communication and financial literacy skills.
Any profits generated through programme activities will be used in accordance with programme objectives and organisational purposes as communicated to participants and parents.
13. SAFEGUARDING
Little Bosses Academy CIC is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
All concerns relating to child welfare will be managed in accordance with our safeguarding policies and applicable legislation.
Where necessary, concerns may be shared with relevant agencies.
14. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
All programme materials, workbooks, activities, branding, logos, graphics, photographs, resources and educational content remain the intellectual property of Little Bosses Academy CIC unless otherwise stated.
Materials may not be copied, reproduced, distributed, sold or adapted without prior written permission.
15. DATA PROTECTION AND PRIVACY
We process personal information in accordance with UK data protection legislation.
Information collected may include:

Programme participation records
Information is collected solely for operational, safeguarding, educational and legal purposes.
16. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
Nothing within these Terms excludes liability where such exclusion would be unlawful.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Little Bosses Academy CIC shall not be liable for any indirect, consequential or incidental losses arising from participation in its programmes.
Our liability shall be limited to the fees paid for the specific programme giving rise to any claim.
17. FORCE MAJEURE
We shall not be responsible for delays, cancellations or interruptions caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to:

Severe weather

Public health emergencies

Government restrictions
-
Industrial action
-
Venue closures
-
Power failures
-
Natural disasters

18. GOVERNING LAW
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
Any dispute arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
