Barry’s Bakehouse is the proud culmination of the Little Bosses course by Hello Little Genius — a powerful, hands-on experience where children aged 5–11 learn to think like leaders, act like entrepreneurs, and work as a team to launch their very own pop-up bakery.

After a hugely successful first run — featured on the BBC for its bold, child-led approach — Barry’s Bakehouse is back with fresh ideas, renewed energy, and even more young minds ready to rise.

Through weeks of guided learning, our Little Bosses explore every step of running a real business:
from pricing and product development

to branding, marketing, teamwork, and customer service.
And when the bakery opens?

They run the show!

Bringing Barry’s Bakehouse to Towns and Cities Across the UK

Barry’s Bakehouse isn’t staying still — we’re taking it on tour.

As part of our mission to equip and elevate young entrepreneurs, Hello Little Genius is bringing Barry’s Bakehouse to communities across the UK. In each town or city we visit, a new group of Little Bosses step up to launch their own version of the bakery — shaped by their ideas, talents, and teamwork.

From local ingredients to local leadership, every Bakehouse pop-up is uniquely rooted in the children who run it. It’s hands-on, high-impact learning — happening where it matters most: in the heart of our communities.

This is entrepreneurship in action. This is confidence on the rise.

Barry’s Bakehouse:

Powered by Little Bosses

Little Bosses is not just a course — it’s a movement.

Created by Hello Little Genius, it’s designed to equip children aged 5–11 with the mindset, skills, and confidence to lead, create, and succeed.

Through this immersive entrepreneurial experience, children take on real-world roles — from finance and branding to product design and customer service. They don’t just learn about business. They build one.

And the result?
Barry’s Bakehouse — a fully functioning, child-led bakery pop-up where every cupcake, cookie, and sale reflects the bold thinking and teamwork of our Little Bosses.

After a standout debut — featured on BBC News for its innovative and empowering approach — Barry’s Bakehouse returns with even more ambition, fresh ideas, and unstoppable energy.

What sets Little Bosses apart:

  • It’s real. Children lead every part of the business. No scripts, no shortcuts — just vision, teamwork, and execution

  • It’s rigorous. We integrate key principles from enterprise, STEAM, and PSHE into every stage of the journey.

  • It’s transformational. Children discover their voice, solve real problems, and walk away with more than just skills — they leave with confidence and purpose.

  • It’s recognised. Our impact caught the attention of BBC News, celebrating how Hello Little Genius is redefining what learning looks like.

Barry’s Bakehouse is more than a pop-up.
It’s proof that when children are trusted, supported, and challenged, they rise — and so do their ideas.
